Poppy is a fully qualified primary school teacher with over seven years of teaching experience.

About the workshop

Options for Full Day or Half Day sessions. Take a look below at an example timetable. Please note, all timetables can be tailored to your school requirements and timings of your day!

During a typical day, Peaceful Poppy can work with up to 30 children in a session and can lead 6 sessions, although can adapt to fit in a maximum of 8 sessions.

The workshops consist of a range of mindfulness and guided meditation (age- appropriate) along with children performing and learning about a range of yoga poses and their benefits, through stories, games and other interactive activities.

These workshops are suitable for children of all ages and abilities. With inclusion being at the heart of our ethos, Peaceful Poppy adapts whenever necessary to ensure that all children within the class can be involved.

Peaceful Poppy provides the yoga mats and any other equipment required for the session.

It’s great to see that wellbeing in the workplace is becoming of increasing importance. Peaceful Poppy also provides yoga for staff to help manage the day- to- day stresses of teaching! (Having taught for 7 years herself, she is fully aware of what your teachers and support staff need!)

You can book for a 45 minute/1 hour workshop (teacher’s time is precious!) for after school, or you can book an 8 session block for staff only (either weekly or monthly).
